A memorial of national significance, this memorial was constructed in 1971 and is dedicated to the lives of those lost in Vietnam. Inside the memorial, the curving walls enclose a nondenominational chapel and lead to a tall, narrow window which overlooks the tranquil Moreno. A 6,000 square foot visitor's center is also on site which features a history of conflict display, videos, and an archive center.
