New Mexico's first designated state park, Bottomless Lakes State Park is actually several small lakes bordered by high red bluffs. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and scuba diving. Swimming is allowed only in its deepest lake, the 90-foot Lea Lake. On-site amenities include a visitor center, group picnic shelter, playground, 70 developed camping sites, a RV dump station, showers, and restrooms.
