Located in the meticulously preserved 19th-century Spiegelberg House, the Peyton Wright Gallery specializes in 19th and 20th-century American art with particular expertise in American Modernism. The gallery is also internationally known for its extensive collection of Spanish Colonial Viceregal devotional art. Other holdings include a rare collection of 18th and 19th-century bultos, cristos, and retablos from significant New Mexican santeros, as well as 18th and 19th-century Russian icons, and Pre-Columbian and Native American ceramics and textiles.
