The Nevada State Museum houses memorabilia regarding Nevada's rich history. Exhibits include a life-size replica of a ghost town, equipment used to stamp over 50 million dollars in gold and silver coins mined from the Comstock Lode when it was the home of the U.S. Mint, handmade baskets crafted by Dat-So-La-Lee, a reconstructed 19th century mine, minerals, and the reconstructed skeleton a mammoth.
