I have lived at Wildflower Village twice, once in 2000 when I moved to Reno the first time and again when I moved back to Reno the 2nd time in 2009. The rooms were attractive and clean. I loved having someone come in once every 2 weeks and clean my room. It is close to downtown but not downtown and if you don't have a vehicle the bus goes right by the motel units. They are older motel units but they have this rustic charm about them, especially what they call the Western Units. The owner is a very wonderful person, very friendly and personable. The staff is polite and very helpful. I loved being able to come to the office and get my free daily cup of coffee, read the paper and just relax in the coffee shop. The owner was so thoughtful that on Thanksgiving and Christmas she would cook a fantastic dinner and bring it in for the tenants to enjoy. The art gallery has the most beautiful unique items; beautiful paintings, jewelry and all kinds of hand made items and is worth a stop by when your in the area. One of the tenants has a american indian store that also has some very beautiful items there.

I was very taken back by Ms. Campbell's older henchmen who control the area. Older men, who probably had a very hard time in life, who report to Ms. Campbell with details about who lives in the run down apartments. Ms. Campbell does not need to depend on these old gossips. I am an artist from Paris, and was walking through the area today, and over heard them belittling someone who is staying there, the person they were belittling is a published artist. Ms. Campbell needs to speak to these old gentle men……I am an open and free person and would never want inhibited by these grumbling negative spirits that confided their long stay within Ms. Campbell's low ground hostel.
