This restored 18th century Georgian-style brick mansion, built on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River, was the home of Revolutionary War General and U.S. Senator Philip J. Schuyler. The wedding of his daughter, Elizabeth, to Alexander Hamilton took place here in 1780. Other guests have included George Washington and Marquis de Lafayette. Exhibitions and programs are held year round.
