The flagship of the largest network of metropolitan zoos in the country, the 265-acre Bronx Zoo is part of the Wildlife Conservation Society. Over 4,000 animals, including polar bears, snow leopards, white-throated bee-eaters, camels, Western lowland gorillas, bison, grizzly bears, blue-bellied rollers, black leopards, ebony langurs, sea lions and Siberian tigers, call the Bronx Zoo their home. The Bronx Zoo is located at Fordham Road and the Bronx River Parkway.
