The 585 acre urban Prospect Park was designed by landscape architects Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, who also designed Central Park. Its features include a 60-acre lake, Prospect Park Zoo, a carousel, the Audubon Center at the Boathouse, Lefferts Historic House, Brooklyn's only forest, the 90-acre Long Meadow, and Wollman Rink.
