Housed in a 2,450 seat art-deco theatre, the Center for the Performing Arts has been host to some of the world's greatest entertainers including Leontyne Price, The Joffrey Ballet, Marilyn Horne, Itzhak Perlman, Tony Bennett, Peter Martins, Luciano Pavarotti, Dame Joan Sutherland, Pearl Bailey, Linda Ronstadt, Victor Borge, and Santana. It is also home to Brooklyn Center Presents, Brooklyn Center Cinema, Brooklyn College Theatre Department's MainStage Productions, Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music, and Brooklyn Center's Community Showcase.
