"An independent, non-profit educational institution that is dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the historical development of baseball and its impact on our culture," the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum's collections feature more than 38,000 3-D items, three million books and documents and 500,000 photographs. It is open daily, year-round, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day; and until 9:00 p.m. from Memorial Day Weekend through the day before Labor Day.
