Housed in the restored Painted Post Tavern, this museum is operated by the Corning Painted post Historical Society. Also on-site is a magnificent collection of other restored and fully furnished historic structures ranging from 1796 to 1878, including Wixon Road Log House, the Blacksmith Shop, Starr Barn, and Brownstone School House. The Historical Society offers living history programs to school and other groups.
