I would suggest not shopping at this store, their employees are rude, arrogant, unfriendly, and unprofessional. I was in ellicotville for dinner and holiday shopping, and stopped in this store. While I was admiring a beautiful blanket, the sales clerk started to yell at my daughter, when I looked at her she told me that I would have to fold a shirt that my daughter picked up to show me that she liked. ( my daughter is 4 1/2). I asked her if she was serious and she said my daughter should not be touching things in the store and I would has to fix what she touched... I have never ever been so upset with a retail store in my life... I will never shop sat this store no matter how much I really wanted that blanket.

I completely agree with C. Allen. While shopping at this store this past weekend my wife and I experienced the rude and arrogant attitude of these unprofessional "sales-clerks". After taking something out of my hand without explanation we were rudely and loudly insulted as we left the store.

We had the exact same experience. My family(including kids!) entered this store. She proceeded to be rude and insulting to my 10 year old daughter. We pointed this out to her. As we left she told us not to come back. She needs to lock the door and install a doorbell and only let in people she approves of.

Looks like his/her bad attitude caused him/her to go out of business. Tried calling the business and the phone is now disconnected. (Unless the phone company didn't like the attitude and refused to do business with them?)

While browsing in this store yesterday, I was not treated well by the staff. Poor customer service and overpriced items were the main reasons I was not impressed. A certain skirt did catch my eye, but after consideration, I decided to think about such an expensive investment and returned today. Again I was treated rudely by the woman that owns the shop AND she RUDELY commented to my girlfriend behind my back that I must have returned to look at the skirt my husband wouldn't let me buy! How completely inappropriate and RUDE!! Please do not SUPPORT a store that treats customers as if they are no better than spit on the sidewalk. I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again and will be certain to spread the word both far and wide. I thoroughly enjoy my trips to Ellicottville, but would never recommend this store to any human.

Absolute worst retail experience ever. The woman who owns this store was incredibly rude to myself and my friends. We did nothing to provoke her, and yet she practically yanked merchandise out of my hands because I had carried it inside from the outside display (just to try it on!). She also flipped one of my friends off as we were leaving the store, and yelled at another friend that photos were NOT ALLOWED as he was about to take a picture. He obligingly turned off the camera, and yet she was repeatedly abrasive and aggressive in her comments and demeanor towards us. I don't know what this woman is doing working in retail since she obviously can't handle dealing with humans. At first we thought she may have just been having a rough day, but after coming on this site and reading these other terrible reviews,I would strongly advise against shopping at après.
