Begun in 1950 by the Wittmeier family, this local favorite is a landmark in the North Fork area and offers menu items such as hamburgers and milkshakes, as well as roast duck, lobster salad, flounder, loin of pork, chicken potpie, and shrimp Parmesan. They are open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner; closed on Mondays. The restaurant is closed for the season from mid-December to the last Tuesday in March.
