This waterfront/beachfront bed and breakfast overlooks Greenport Harbor and offers fantastic views of Shelter Island. The mixture of Dutch and Victorian influences in the architecture of the inn gives it a very elegant and unique identity. Located on a private road, on over an acre of pristine lawn and gardens, Harbor Knoll offers the ultimate in privacy and quietness. Sunbathe on our beach or take a stroll or fish off our private dock. The gentle sea breezes and the calming sound of the waves ensure relaxation. The B&B has five bedrooms, all with private bath and most with a panoramic view of the water. Decorated like an English Country House, the colorful chintzes and antiques collected from all around the world, all contribute to an charming environment. Enjoy the outstanding library, relax in the sunroom and cozy up to the fireplace in the living room. Within easy walking distance from the Village of Greenport and the Ferry to Shelter Island as well as transportation to New York City and Connecticut. A delicious full country breakfast is served either on the front porch overlooking the harbor or in the formal dining room. Tea/Coffee/lemonade is available on the porch throughout the day.
