Opened in 1985, the Noguchi Museum was created by Isamu Noguchi. Situated in a converted factory building, the Noguchi Museum presents a comprehensive collection of the artist's works in stone, metal, wood and clay, as well as models for public projects and gardens, dance sets and Akari Light Sculptures, in 13 galleries and a garden which contains granite and basalt sculptures. The Noguchi Museum offers a variety of education and public programs.
