Helping to tell the story of the development of colonial society and the road to the American Revolution, St. Paul's Church National Historic Site consists of an 18th century stone church, one of New York's oldest parishes; that was used as a Revolutionary War hospital during the Battle at Pell's Point in 1776, a cemetery with burial stones dating to 1704, and the remnant of a village green that was the scene of the famous Great Election of 1733.
