Manhattan's oldest house, located one block from St. Nicholas Avenue and Edgecombe Avenue, the Palladian-style Morris-Jumel Mansion was General Washington's headquarters in September and October of 1776. Docents offer one-hour tours every Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Tours for groups of 10 or more people can be scheduled seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
