Open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the War of 1812 Museum's KeyBank Gallery houses original works of art related to the Battles at Plattsburgh and the War of 1812. The Allan S. Everest Interpretive Center is a permanent exhibit within the Museum that "chronologically recounts the events of the battles at Plattsburgh within the context of the War of 1812, including the political and economical causes of the war, land and naval engagements at Plattsburgh and the significant role that the battles here played in the final peace negotiations." The Press-Republican Theater space is used for orientation presentations, meetings, and special events.
