A member of Relais & Chateaux, the Old Drovers Inn has received accolades from Bon Appetit, Condé Nast Johansens and Wine Spectator. Originally opened as Clear Water Tavern, this pre-colonial building was once a stop-over for cattle drovers in the 1750s and served for a short time as the headquarters for General Lafayette during the Revolutionary War. A lovely lodging accommodation enhanced by antiques, original art, uneven pine floor boards and its sprawling grounds, guests may enjoy fine dining on modern and traditional American cuisine at the Tap Room. Seven guest rooms are available.
