A constituent of the Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College, Louis Armstrong's home in New York is a National Historic Landmark and museum that is open to the public for 40-minute guided tours. Louis Armstrong and his wife, Lucille, moved into this modest house in Corona, Queens, in 1943. The house and its furnishings remain very much as they were during Louis and Lucille’s lifetime. The Louis Armstrong House Museum holds several collections of photographs, recordings, documents, and artifacts. Tours start every hour on the hour, with the last tour of the day starting at 4:00 p.m.
