Once the estate of George Eastman, the founder of the Eastman Kodak Company, this restored Colonial Revival mansion is situated on 12 and a half acres and is open to the public. Visitors of the International Museum of Photography and Film can see the home, gardens, a state-of-the-art archives building, two theatres, a study center, exhibition galleries, and the Discovery Room. The main purpose of the museum is to tell the story of the history of photography and motion pictures over the last 150 years.
