An outdoor living history museum, the Erie Canal Village is composed of three museums, The Erie Canal Museum, the Harden Museum, and The New York State Museum of Cheese building. A mule drawn packet boat ride on the original Erie Canal, which is part of the 524-mile Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor, is available.
