Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Washington’s Headquarters Museum (The Elijah Miller House) is an 18th-century Rhode Island-style farmhouse that served as a command post for General George Washington during the Battle of White Plains in 1776. The museum’s collection of colonial artifacts includes the table and chair that were used by General Washington during his stay there.
