Brooklyn's oldest public building, the Greek Revival style Brooklyn Borough Hall is the original City Hall and houses the Brooklyn Borough President. Its features include Tuckahoe marble, a staircase which leads to an entrance with six fluted Ionic columns supporting a triangular pediment, a replaced cast-iron cupola, and the statue of Justice. Brooklyn Borough Hall is a designated New York City Landmark and is also listed on the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places.
