Akron Animal Clinic, is a veterinary office located on the west side of Akron, conveniently off of I-77 exit 131. Akron Animal Clinic was founded in the late 1960’s. Providing exceptional veterinarian; medical, surgical and dental care, Akron Animal Clinic can provide all of the care your family pet needs. We understand your pet is a member of your family and we treat every patient with tender loving care and treat your family with compassion and respect. Akron Animal Clinic wants you to feel confident your pet is as important to us as it is to you. Our staff’s goal is to practice the highest standard of veterinary medicine in a friendly and caring environment.
Akron Animal Clinic's mission is to work with your family, educating you about the proper health care of your pet to prevent problems from occurring. We utilize state of the art equipment in our clinic including fecal centrifugation – a process that yields much more accurate results than the more commonly used techniques. Akron Animal Clinic is a member of the Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital (mvh). This is where all higher lever care of your pet will take place by our doctors. We perform surgeries here in state-of-the-art surgical suites, and can do most any soft-tissue or orthopedic surgery your cat or dog may require. Sick or injured patients are hospitalized here with around-the-clock medical attention and care.
We are committed to good dental health in patients and provide full dental care including surgical dental extractions and digital dental radiography.
At mvh, we also have access to board certified specialists including surgeons, internists, oncologists, cardiologists, ophthalmologists and radiologists. We have digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, mri, and CT scan at our disposal. We can board your pet at mvh, especially if it has a medical condition and needs a higher level of monitoring than the average boarding facility can provide.
