A warm, old-fashioned welcome is extended to all curious “city slickers” at this Amish farm that offers tours aboard horse-drawn buggies and is complete with Amish tour guides to elucidate the purity of a more simple life as lived by the sect. The barnyard offers many chances for close contact with a variety of farm animals and the Amish House provides a glimpse of a lifestyle that is without electricity and modern conveniences, yet rich in heritage and tradition. Other areas of interest on the farm include a chicken coop, a vegetable garden, a grape arbor, and on site gift shops.
