This beautiful park, constructed mainly in the 1930s as one of the Civilian Conservation Corps, is situated within the nine-thousand-acre Scioto Trail Sate Forest, which is traversed by winding, ridge-top forest roads that offer inspiring views of the Scioto River Valley, and is the habitat of such thriving and, sometimes, rare wildlife, such as wild turkey, white tailed deer, bobcats and black bear. This site offers a paradisiacal retreat for hiking, nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
