The Ohio Historical Center "serves as the headquarters for the Ohio Historical Society and is the flagship museum of the Society’s network of over 50 historic sites and museums." Permanent exhibits include "Windows to Our Collections: Ohio’s Ancient Past," "Ohio: Centuries of Change," "The Nature of Ohio," "Ohio’s Garden Path: the Flowering of Our Landscape," "To Have and To Hold: Treasures of the Christopher Collection," and "Architecture." The Archives/Library can be found on the 3rd floor of the Center. The Center offers education programs for school groups.
