Construction of Ohio's Greek Revival-style Statehouse, a National Historic Landmark, began on July 4, 1839. The restored Ohio Statehouse is one of the oldest working statehouses in the United States. The Ohio Statehouse is open Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Ohio Statehouse features the Statehouse Museum Shop and the Capitol Cafe, operated by Catering by Design.
