The Glacial Grooves are the "largest easily accessible such grooves in the world." A trough 400-feet long, 35-feet wide, and up to 10-feet deep is all that remains from when it was embedded in Devonian limestone close to 18,000 years ago. Marine fossils 350 to 400 million years old may also be found in the grooves. A National Natural Landmark.
