Having been protected and preserved since 1923, this is the finest and clearest example of glacial scouring in the United Sates, and probably the entire world. A common example of the grooves that may be studied and viewed is a groove that is thirty five feet wide, fifteen feet deep, and over four hundred thirty feet in length.
