I had been to the rec center before without any issues. I always call ahead to ensure that I am able to participate in what my family wants. I did not know that there were rules in place for the batting cages and was not informed of these rules until after I paid. Needless to say I paid and was told that we must have a helment. We did not bring one because it was not mentioned in my phone call prior to driving 40 miles for a family fun day. After I paid, I was informed of this rule and since we did not bring one, I asked for my $25.00 back. I was given a voucher because I was already entered in for that time slot.
This is so unjust. My family and I were not even there 5 minutes. The refunded was refused even though they knew we could not use the baseball batting cages. I went ahead and let the kids swim.
Due to the 40 minute drive I will be back one last time to use the VOUCHER that I was given in place of my cash.
I am very disapointed and hope that this will not happened to others that try and make a family day fun only to be given a voucher for another time.
