This three-story home is filled with antique Victorian and French furnishings, turn of the century chandeliers, and fine oak woodwork. Oscar Hayes was a wealthy businessman in Muskogee when Oklahoma was Indian Territory. His desire was to be the first Governor of Oklahoma in 1907 when it became a state. The home was to be his Governor's Mansion, but he lost the race. They received the 2005 and 2006 Silver Spoon Award for excellence by the Oklahoma Bed and Breakfast Association.
