One of the United States' best facilities for the preservation and study of American art and history, Gilcrease Museum houses the world's largest, most comprehensive collection of art and artifacts of the American West, including a fascinating collection of Native American art and artifacts and historical manuscripts, documents and maps. Gilcrease Museum is open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. A docent-guided tour of the permanent collection is offered to the public daily at 2:00 p.m. Guided tours of the Gilcrease Gardens are available on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. in May, June, September, and October.
