On June 20, 2012, my wife and I opted to stay at the Pinehurst Inn. Donnie and Denise warmly welcomed us. I wish to start by apologizing for not having the extensive vocabulary to convey the level of relaxation the Pinehurst Inn delivered. The area surrounding the Inn is a great place to meander and enjoy the scenery. Jenny Creek is a peaceful creek to sit next to and decompress. The area was cooler than the area I came from (Redding, which was in the 100’s). The only negative thing about the Pinehurst Inn that I would state is that every room is done in a different quaint style, therefore, it will require multiple stays to enjoy each personality the rooms have to offer. I guarantee my next Ashland stay will be enjoyed at the Pinehurst Inn.

On the night we stayed at the Pinehurst Inn, June 20, 2012, my wife and I opted to dine at the Inn. My wife had Parmesean Chicken and I enjoyed the Mediterranean Chicken. These were delicious meals prepared by Denise. Her passion really comes through in the meals she prepares and Donnie serves. The one item that really knocked off my socks was the little English muffin loaves. What a tasty creation they were. I think I could have eaten a dozen of them. As we were traveling, we were not able to enjoy multiple dinners at the Pinehurst Inn, therefore, I am not able to comment on more than one meal. But I have no intention of this being my only meal at the Pinehurst Inn, so stand-by for further reviews of the eatin's.

My husband and I had a wonderful romantic getaway to the Pinehurst Inn. There was snow on the ground and the sounds of the creek were soothing. We loved our room with the most comfortable bed and the great clawfoot tub! The sunroom was relaxing and we enjoyed the wonderful view of the mountains. Our dinner was amazing. I had the halibut, my husband had the prime rib. The charm of 1927 was everywhere in the warm woods of the parlor and the dining room, too. Next time, I hope to sit on the wrap around porch with a summer breeze. We definitely want to visit again and again.
