"Dedicated to broadening the understanding of the High Desert's wildlife, culture, art and natural resources," over 80,000 square feet of exhibits await you with living history demonstrations, lectures, and animal interpretations presented regularly. The museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Extended hours are offered in the summer and admission is charged. Allow about three to four hours to see it all.
