"Said to be the most photographed lighthouse in the United States," the working Heceta Head Lighthouse is "the brightest light on the Oregon coast." The Heceta Head Keeper’s House is one of the last remaining Lightkeeper’s cottages on the Pacific Coast. With a capacity of 14 guests, the house features six queen-size beds, five bathrooms, a fully equipped guest kitchen and intimate parlors with ocean views and original handcrafted fireplaces. A seven-course breakfast is served. The Heceta Head Lighthouse and Light Keeper’s house are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tours of the lighthouse are given daily, March through October, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
