The Clyde is one of the few historic hotels in Downtown Portland which retains its original layout and use as a hotel. In fact it is listed on the National Register as one of the best intact examples of a Commercial style hotel. It features beautiful mahogany panels, swing alcove doors, inlaid tiling, and a mezzanine. Guest rooms have original doors, woodwork, Victorian claw foot tubs, and original tile.
