A historic farm established in 1748, by Northampton County’s first elected representative to the Pennsylvania Provincial Assembly in Philadelphia, James Burnside; Burnside Plantation includes a restored 1748/1818 farmhouse, two 1840's bank barns, a high horse-power wheel, large kitchen garden and orchard, corn crib, and a wagon shed. Self-guided walking tours are available daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
