The Carlisle Arts Learning Center (CALC) serves and enriches the community by encouraging creativity and self-esteem through exploration and appreciation of the visual arts and participates in community events. Disadvantaged children and adults may participate in CALC classes at reduced charges via its scholarship program. CALC offeris customized workshops at the request of organizations like the Girl Scouts and the YWCA summer day camp program. CALC features a fine art sales gallery displaying a variety of local art and hand-craft items and is open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and by appointment.
