Home of the ferryman and farmer who Chadds Ford was named after, the John Chads House has been authentically restored and furnished by the Chadds Ford Historical Society. Its original oak floors, paneling, and woodwork make it a perfect example of early 18th century Pennsylvania architecture. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the John Chads House is open on weekends 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., from May through September.
