Near the historic birthplace of President James Buchanan, the Mercersburg Inn is situated in a breathtaking 20,000 square foot Georgian-style mansion. This turn-of-the-century home still retains such original accents as decorative tile, oak flooring, double-curving wrought-iron balustrades, scagliola columns, and mahogany and chestnut paneling. Each of its 17 guest rooms features a king or queen-size bed, luxury bedding, a private bath, hairdryer, and custom bath accessories. Three guest rooms have fireplaces. Byron’s Dining Room is headed by executive chef, Dan Nowalk.
