Adjacent to Cook Forest State Park, guests of the Gateway Lodge Country Inn can enjoy such seasonal activities as hiking, bicycling, bird watching, ice skating, canoeing, tubing, horseback riding, golfing, fishing, hunting, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. The Inn's accommodations include 22 spacious suites, all with king-size beds, two-person whirlpool tubs, private baths, fireplaces, and mini-refrigerators. Many suites have private terraces. Constructed of pine and hemlock logs, the Lodge itself provides eight historic rooms, each with a double bed. Seven rustic cabins, all with fireplaces and kitchens, are also available.
