Operated by the Bucks County Historical Society, the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle, a National Historic Landmark built from 1908-1912; offer a wide array of programs, events, exhibits and tours for audiences of all ages and an extensive library. The Mercer Museum is a history museum of everyday life in America during the 18th and 19th centuries. Most of the 55 exhibit rooms and alcoves display the tools or products of an early American craft, trade or occupation. The Mercer Museum is a National Historic Landmark and is accredited by the American Association of Museums.
