Home to over 400 animals, more than 200 species from around the world are represented at the Erie Zoo. These animals include polar bears, llamas, cheetahs, African mud turtles, alligators, penguins, African rhinos, Red pandas, Bornean orangutans, otters, giraffes, and pythons. The Botanical Gardens of Northwest Pennsylvania features 2,500 specimens from 600 species of plant.
