Situated along the Kettle Creek Valley, 18 miles south of Galeton, the 132-acre Ole Bull State Park is found in an area that is known at the "Black Forest" because of its former dense tree cover, mountainous terrain and wilderness habitat. Seasonal recreational opportunities include camping, cross-country skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, swimming, and picnicking. Ole Bull Cabin, a one and one-half story log cabin, can be rented year-round.
