An educational project of the Friends of Gettysburg, the Rupp House History Center allows visitors through interactive exhibits to experience 19th-century culture and learn about the civilians and soldiers who struggled here and the preservation work that is critical to understanding the Battle of Gettysburg. The Rupp House History Center is within walking distance of Gettysburg National Military Park’s Visitor Center, the Soldiers' National Cemetery, several hotels, restaurants and Gettysburg’s town square.
