If you visit Gettysburg with young children, do not visit J's at the Village. We recently visited Gettysburg with family and extended family for my mother-in-law's birthday and Mother's Day, and booked reservations at J's at the Village in advance of our trip. My wife was very clear that we had little ones, and after the reservation was made, we booked our lodgings around a special dinner that night. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, and informed that our children would disrupt the other guests. She quite smugly said we would not be seated, and turned us away. After my family left, I confronted the manager that she knowingly booked a party with children only to refuse service upon arrival.
