Used as a Federal hospital for wounded soldiers following the 1863 Battle of Gettysburg, and still retaining such original features as wide moldings, random-plank floors and four fireplaces, this Federal-style brick home on 19 acres of Gettysburg countryside offers two guest suites perfect for families and four guest rooms, each named after one of Pennsylvania's native trees. All rooms have queen or king-size beds and private baths with showers. A nature trail can be found on the property. Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
