The second oldest structure in New Oxford, this restored brick encased log house was occupied by Confederate General John Gordon of Georgia and his officers on the way to Gettysburg. Filled with period pieces and family heirlooms, the Barker House Bed and Breakfast offers four guest rooms with private baths. A full three-course breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. A small cottage with a bedroom, full bath, and a gas fireplace is available by the week or month.
